Because all items are made to order, The Purple Alligator does not accept returns or refunds except in cases where we made an error or the item arrived damaged/defective.


Non‑Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund:

  • All made‑to‑order apparel
  • Gift cards

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We will gladly replace an item only if it is defective, damaged, or incorrect due to an error on our part.

To be eligible for a replacement:

  • You must contact us within 2 days of delivery
  • The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • Please include clear photos of the issue in your email

Shipping for Approved Exchanges

If an exchange is approved, you may be asked to return the item to:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the error was ours
  • Shipping costs are non‑refundable
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service; we are not responsible for items lost in transit

Refunds (If Approved)

Refunds are issued only when an item qualifies due to our error.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Please allow up to 5 business days after inspection
  • Original shipping costs are non‑refundable
  • Return shipping costs may be deducted from the refund, if applicable

Final Notes

  • Items that have been worn, washed, or altered are not eligible for replacement or refund
  • Issues reported outside the 2‑day window will not be eligible for review
